Announced today in Capcom’s Mega Man 30th Anniversary livestream, among a few announcements, Capcom dropped the big reveal trailer for Mega Man 11.
Not much in the way of details outside of a vague ‘2018’ release & being released for PS4, Xbox One, Switch & PC. Directed by Koji Oda, with Kazuhiro Tsuchiya on board as a producer. Capcom mentioned that there might be more news & info regarding this new title at some point during the summer.
While being the same old 2D side scrolling action platformer we know & love it does feature a new snazzy 2.5D artstyle. A key feature now being Mega Man changing his whole outfit rather than simply his colors when changing weapon types.
Also along with the news of this new game, all 8 of the Mega Man X series will be arriving to the same platforms. Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 are making their way to the Switch as well, with some added Amiibo support.
